Though galvanized ceiling inlets have proven to be an effective from of providing both air temperature and air quality control during cold weather they are not wthout problems. A new type of ceiling inlet currently under developement with Canarm Manufacturing looks to provide improved air flow with minimal openings, less of a tendency to throw the air towards the floor during times of moderate ventilation, and a far tighter seal when closed. In addition the well insulated inlet should have longer life and fewer condensation issues.
